Flash Player wont work

Postby mickey » Thu Nov 06, 2008 5:24 pm

The last week or so i cant get flash player to work on the laptop. Sites like youtube and a few poker sites that i play on need flash to work.

When i follow the link to download the newest version, it says i have it installed already but the sites still wont work ](*,) ](*,)

Any ideas on how to get it to work other than formatting or something similar? [-o< [-o<

Goto Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs, find Flash Player, uninstall it.
Install the new download and see how you go.

Flash Player can be a bugger to uninstall, often just using control panel won't do it. You may need to download the specific uninstaller. Try this link:

I had problems with BigPond Video telling me I needed to install the latest flash player when I already had.
In the end I sent their tech people an email and they sent me the usual response suggesting the problem was in my system.
I ignored that advice and in 3 days the problem had gone away.
