We use it a fair bit. Very easy and have had no problems with it, except it doesn't work for games (PS2 etc).

Nero 7 is on my computer, and seems to offer "Copy CD" and "Copy DVD".
I've never actually done it as I have no need of it.

Thank you for the feedback guys.

In explanation

Having lost a valuable(to me) DVD account young Grandson scratching it I now make a backup copy of those DVD's I purchase (once bitten) however I am running into some which DVDshrink cannot copy account of protection. We have Nero Premium but that also cannot handle.

Even though I have good protection on my computer, probably account my age I am nervous about putting credit card details up but looks like I need to take the step.

Bit silly that stores cannot sell this software in Australia but you can still get it by downloading from internet.

Thanks again for responses - most appreciated

The trick there is to get a specific credit card with a limited low monthly charge maximum, or if they will accept it a debit only card, and you can control how much credit is in it at any time.

Maybe look into setting up a PayPal account. You can use it as an online account where you can control how much money you put into it with no fees/charges. Most online stores offer PayPal payment. No personal account details are given to the seller and it is apparently the safest method of online shopping.

Agree with MT79 that PayPal is very good (at least I've never had a problem with it). I also have a pre-pay Mastercard. They were originally intended for people who can't get credit through normal means but have caught on as a safer way to take money on holiday etc.

You add money to your account (here it's via the post office) and that is how much you can spend...is then used the same way as any other Mastercard (can get Visa and others too I believe) but must be in credit or the card is rejected...also means that if it's stolen the theif cannot spend more than the credit balance. Bonus is that as you have no account to pay off you don't pay interest on your spending.
