I think you may be wrong in blaming Limewire for the demise of your old computer. I've been using it for years without a problem.

Well, I'm buggered if I know. I appreciate that you're not keen on Limewire, but as I stated I've never had any problems with it.
What do you suggest as a good (free) alternative? At the time I took on Limewire there didn't seem to be much on offer in the free department.

Same, I'd be more inclined to blame your Anti-Virus software.
There's some threads on here mate discussing the whole Bit-Torrent thing, which is a good way of downloading albums at a time.
I'm not sure how much Little River Band stuff you're gonna find out there mate

Yes, Trend, Norton, and McAfee, have all lost ground in recent years. I used to use VET until it let me down some time after CA took it over.amber_fluid wrote:I've used alot of anti-virus programs over times in the industry and although I suspect its not Limewire causing the viruses I must say that Trend would definitely be the worse anti-virus I've used by far..............especially if you use Trend on networks, it's SH*THOUSE!!!
