The only help I can offer is that it doesn't work for me either at the moment. I'm sure they'll sort it by this evening Jimmy!

Yep, me too.

I just called them and was informed that the current program is not being broadcast online - they have no problems and the footy will be on tonight.

I had to set my PC up last night when the League Teams show was on. Just a matter of downloading a free version of winamp from the winamp site, install and click on the Listen Live link on RPH. Would be good if they had something that opened with Media Centre but it didnt take long to set up.

In WMP click on open url and put in http://www.rphadelaide.org.au:8000. it should stay in the list then and it plays ok in wmp.

Don't worry too much Jimmy...as the others have said RPH don't stream online 24/7. Their 'Program Guide' page will show which shows are available online although at the moment it doesn't list footy...I think it's still the summer (Oz) schedule. IIRC from last year they usually only go live online around the start of the footy coverage ie the show before it wasn't online. I personally like RealPlayer for RPH and the new version of it lets me record shows too.

Another link is also on their 'SANFL Coverage' page...just click the time next to the game you want to listen to.

No joy for me now either, Jimmy & others.

Can't get through on the dog & bone either, sorry I can't be of more use.

You need someone with a voip phone who can call you dirt cheap and leave the handset next to the radio!

I didn't cut and paste the url, I just downloaded winamp, installed it.
Then when I clicked on the live link for rph I'd "open" it, it'd then ask me for a program to associate the extension with (i think it was something like a pls file), I then pointed it to where winamp was in my c drive (ie programfiles/winamp/winamp.exe) and voila.

JAS wrote:Would it be possible for them to somehow broadcast to SAFooty and then we listen via the forum so that it only counts as one connection for them and frees up more for elsewhre....do any of this make sense :?

I know that it's probably a lack of server capacity at RPH and I know that isn't SAFooty's problem but after the disappointment and frustration that lots of us went through today trying to listen to the game (yes I want to listen win, loose or draw) I'd like to ask the above question again. Seriously, I have no idea how this kind of stuff works but is there a way of streaming via here or the club web sites/forums that might help ensure a link at least until RPH could possibly increase their capacity.
