I would like to have Bluetooth on my PC- do I need to download a program, or physically install hardware?

Aw that sucks, my brother was bored at work the other day and made the best video of his mate making mango people (I've watched it about 10 times and it gets me in stitches every time)
Anyhoo, I want to get it onto my computer, and I thought that bluetooth might be the only way... poo

Could always email the video file from the fone to your normal email address and go from there

Got one at an Optus phone dealer on special for $19.95 about a year ago.
Hunt around.
A lot easier to use than my phone programme.
Plus you can transfer anything to anyphone in the room or they can upload to you.
Well worth the purchase my friend.

About to replace a crappy mobile but don't know much about the newer ones.
I think this has been covered elsewhere but can you surf the web on a mobile through your own or someone elses wireless modem (ie attracting no additional fees)?
Does Bluetooth capability allow you to do this or do I need a 'Wifi' phone?
In 25 words or less, what's the difference between 3G and 2G?

Just reading up on that phone a review states: "As a high end phone it is perhaps no surprise that Wi-Fi is built in, and one of the markets Nokia has in mind for this phone is the business place where workers move around a lot and can use Voice-over-IP telephone systems to ensure staff are contactable at all times".
So therefore I'm guessing that I need a 'wifi' phone in order to surf the web via a wireless modem. Do you have to be on a pretty hefty plan to use 3G?

Unless you use it for internet access. I was on the old CDMA network due to my parents "remote" location and I needed to be contactable when at home visiting the olds. Changed over to 3G and pay $30 a month but I only use it for calls and text nothing else

i got the phone for free on a $40- per month plan....in hindsight a poor decision, should have bought it outright as i probably only use $15-$20 per month as I have a work modile I use most of the time

Can salary sacrifice the phone if you use one for work purposes, then you can get a pre-paid sim card to stick in it. Get the phone you want and a (FBT free) tax benefit at the same time.
