Postby Baron Greenback » Wed Jan 30, 2008 11:26 am

Got Guitar Hero III for Christmas.
Progressed through easy, made it through medium without too much difficulty.
But Hard is a f**kin understatement!
Has anyone else had trouble compelting songs on hard?
I can't get through the first gig!

Well you're doing better than me DB!

I only realised last night that you can hammer-on and pull-off.
I'm sure that will help but will take a bit of practice.

Also tried a song on expert last night. Bloody impossible.

Yep. You can't beat pulling off!

I found that if you practice a song slowly then you can get the hang of it a bit easier. Also remember you can strum up and down on the guitar which helps to play fast songs.

Still it's enough to pull your hair out.......but very addictive!

I wouldn't say that.
I play a bit of guitar and i've found it a lot easier than most of my mates who don't play.
I guess you just have to be pretty co-ordinated. Something I'm not!

I play a little 6 string and alot more bass. For those who can play a real guitar, and have the 'strike' of hitting notes and the 'strum' co-ordination,it is easier....
