haha cos you don't know how to use it. it's pretty clear you just make stuff up on this forum and don't have one bit of evidence to back it up.

Even though my household has 2 iPhones, 2 iPads, 5 iPods, a Macbook Pro and an AppleTV, iTunes is still crap ...

We also have had 4 Android phones.

Amazing what you can see with both eyes open ... 8-[

I have one Ipod touch, (solely because my car came with a dock from the factory), and will never buy anything with an Apple logo on it again. Firstly because Itunes is so terrible, and secondly because the actual Ipod isnt that great. I could do everything I need it for on my Iriver Clix in 2006. The only difference was i could just cut and paste music and videos onto the Iriver.

Apple and Itunes can go eat a ****

Your reason why iTunes is crap where all false. Which leads one to believe you just do t know how to use it. If you knew how to do all those things then what have you got to hate about it?

Some reason why iTunes is crap ...

- constant freezes/lockups, has been happening for the last 78,000 versions
- creates duplicates when using iTunes match
- just about impossible for different users (with their own PC/Mac account) on the same PC or Mac to use the same library, so everyone needs to use the same PC/Mac account, meaning that all users get all the crap from the other users that they may or may not want
- DRM restrictions ... you buy a user licence to content at the whim of Apple, NOT the rights to the content
- Devise authorisation is cumbersome and restrictive
- IOS updates are downloaded every time regardless of whether they have been downloaded before
- IOS updates are complete versions, not delta updates
- cumbersome to relocate the location of the iTunes library or to transfer to another PC/Mac

That's just a start ...

Also, just related to iPhones, there is a huge bug in IOS that chews up cellular (3G/4G, etc) data when on WiFi. The bug is related to the Telco carrier settings and means that cellular data downloads/uploads can occur even when you have set the IPhone to not use cellular when on WiFi.

If I only use my phone to make & receive phone calls, to send & receive emails & to take photos, why do I need it.

Im pretty sure you will need it to put those photos on your computer. But not too sure. Numerous friends have told me they lost heaps of photos because they plugged their phones in and iTunes did an update and wiped their phones clean. That was a couple of years ago, not sure if it still does that.
