PS3 Games you should get!!

Screw Madden go NCAA Football the road to glory is awesome and alot tougher but unfortunately you will need a NTSC ps3 to play this as NCAA football is always left as a NTSC game

please excuse the ignorance, but NTSC opposed to PAL? is that what that means?

if so, i though ps3's were universal, and played any format?

I recently got signed by the Nets as well, had a pretty good first up game and got a B+ I think.

Second game was against the Cavs and I had to play on LeBron, he smashed me. I actually didn't do too badly, scored 8 pts and grabbed 5 boards I think but LeBron scored 27 and dunked on me a few times.

good work.i've held my own in my next couple of games.

a few stupid things have happend lately though.......

1. when defending my man, the blue circle would randomly swith to another player, then another, then another..... and i wouldnt know who i'm suposed to be guarding, then if they score, i lose grading coz i allowed "MY" man to score, even if the blue circle wasnt on the dude that scored at the time of making the basket.

2. in the NBA, a few times the graphics that come up, conference standings, next 5 matchups, and to a lesser extent the subs screen, has stayed on the screen for waaaaay too long, blocking part of my court vision, exept in the csae of the conference standings where it blocks the whole screen, and my man scored on me, then i "held the ball for too long" all while i couldnt see a thing! so i had to call a timeout to make it go away!

any if these happend to anyone else?

You are correct the big bang. Pal and NTCS is redundant with modern TVs. And the PS3 is region free.

Geez Strawb. Which games we can import is decided by region coding, not whether it is PAL or NTSC. All PS3 games are region free. Which XBOX 360 games get region coded is decided by the developer. Has nothing to do with Microsoft. Still plenty of region free XBOX 360 games out there.

on nba 2k10's MY PLAYER mode, i checked on a couple of official 2ksports forums, and it seems as though a couple glitches, such as not being able to change quater lengths, have been fixed by "patches". where do these patches come from? when i get online in the next couple weeks, does it automatically download theses patches to fix my game?

Saw Heavy Rain advertised in JBs for pre-order...looks pretty interesting. Going by the reviews theres nothing like it on any console. I think ill wait for it to come out and maybe hire it before i pay $120 for it on the advise of reviewers...

The gameplay is very different from previous Final Fantasies - much more linear. Not a good move in my opinion. I imagine it branches out later on though.

Bwahaha! Yeah, she gets annoying. The young lad is just as bad if not worse.
At least the young girl has an Aussie accent!

Apparently it doesn't branch out much at all, which is a real shame.
I'm not too far into it yet, but the graphics have been unreal, but apart from the storyline, the gameplay has been average.
