If you have the software then you can just reinstall if there's a problem or just do a full backup to an external HDD if you want to.

The theory behind the rescue disks is that they supposedly save you time but drivers are much, much less of an issue than they were a while ago.

So if it was me I wouldn't be bothering with it.

Like I said I'm not using it for anything really important or irreplaceable and the files or holiday snaps etc I do create I can copy to my main pc as a backup and save on a flash drive and losing anything else would be inconvenient at worst.
