If anyone wants an update on what is being done, what has been completed or what stage the NBN is at, I get weekly updates. If your suburb isn't at the design stage, it's not on the list yet.

heater, I suggest your company contact NBNCo and find out exactly what's required.

Correct. Existing conduit will suffice.

Like I said, if it's not at design stage, then it's not on the list I get. My new place will be ready middle of next year. Darwin city center is about a third completed.

All the old Telstra pits are being replaced at the same time, which is slowing progress. The whole project would be one of the biggest infrastructure projects undertaken worldwide.

Am going to try and get access to the actual plans in the next couple of weeks. At the moment I can tell you that areas in and around Stirling and strathalbyn are at the design and remidial stage. If they are working that close to your house, you might be lucky. Keep an eye out for drums of green cable. My guess is you will have nbn by spring.

It will be worth the wait. Have seen the speeds it can reach. Problem is I won't be able to blame lag for poor performance on cod.

Same for me

I've avoided some horrible women in bars when I've been drunk because of lag.
