You guys have almost sold me on this game - hopefully a patch or two will fix a few of the niggling issues

Is anyone else having a lot of problems when playing online.

i was playing against and with mate last night and we were having guys go missing, guys running along and not being able to be tackled.
both ruckman jumpin at ball and neither hittin it so it falls at feet.
teams kicking goals when noone has the footy, so u just see the footy having a set shot.

and playing on same team we could have 1 guy ruckman one guy onballer like when u play 2 player offline. u could only control a guy in the middle once the ruck contest was done
when someone got say a free kick we could use a player till the ball was kicked
hell annoying.

Is it exclusive to a few stores like JBs and EB? I'm hoping Sanity will stock it but it's not on their website - I've got a $50 voucher and I can't think of much else to buy from that overpriced, craphouse joint - but they said they'd never heard of it when I contacted them

Didn't even know Sanity stocked PS3/Xbox games?

I know you can get it from JB, EB, GAME, Kmart, Dick Smith

Try and get EB to price match Dick Smith's price of $89.94.

I noticed it for sale for WII the other day in EB Games... Do you reckon it will be just as good as PS3?

It will probably be more arcadey but that could be a good thing - would be interesting to see how they use the controllers. Hmm... they might even address some of the concerns with the PS3 version.

Looking at a thread on another site apparently it's made by a different developer but distributed by the same publisher. Seems to have lots more modes & mini games than the PS3 version and 70+ teams (VFL, TAC Cup for Career Mode, but no SANFL AFAIK). Can use Gamecube controller, wiimote or wiimote with nunchuck. Graphics look well dodgy but that's to be expected I guess.

AFL would be a hard game to develop I think.

NFL has 22 on the field, Soccer has 22 on the field. There would be so much more coding for another 14 extra players on the field.

2 songs is a bloody nightmare! I hired it on the weekend and was sick of it in 10 minutes. I can see how the multiplayer function would be more fun, but I couldn't get on because of the PSN being down. AFL is not a sport they can recreate effectively as a game IMO.

i changed my mind after my original post... im so glad i didnt buy it... gone from a 6 to a 4 out of 10....
because i ive played it for alot longer, couldnt care less if i play it again. the fact tyou cant put you created player into a proper season and when you try and create your own season you cant even have the same amount of rounds and you cant change the final series either.

i'm yet to buy it, but are you sure you cant play with yourself* in a season? my mate told me it has somewhat of a "salary cap" sorta thing, so if you've made all yourself to be an out-and-out superstar, sydney (i assume that's who you tried to play for?) might not have been able to fit you in under the "salary cap"?

sorry if this is way off, as i've barely played it and just going by what my mate has told me.
