I'm with Adam - we've got a naked connection, 20 gig a month (I think), only costs us about $20 but that's because my partner works for Adam, not sure how much it'd be normally. Haven't had any problems with the connection to date. It pisses all over Telstra Bigpond.

That appears to only offer the companies prepared to pay to be in it.
Only a few major corporate ISPs appear, and they seem to be all a lot dearer in total bundle price than my Internode bundle.

Netspace.

$59.95 for 30GB split between peak and off peak usage. I do like the peak/off peak system as I pretty much go through the off peak quota in the first week or so but can still use it during the day at normal speeds.

I use Bigpond Wireless, costs a fortune (not even game to post how much I pay on here!) but Telstra 3G is the only wireless service in our area. I refuse to get a landline just for internet, and figure the savings from line rental cover the extra cost of the wireless service. Had some teething issues but now it's working really well, very happy with it.

Nothing works straight out of the box, I would say you would have 1 or 2 settings wrong.

I've had 3 wireless modems over the years, as soon as you get the settings right, there is never an issue.

Internode. I've been with them now for about 14 or 15 years... they have always been extremely reliable, and their phone support is excellent (can sometimes take 10 minutes on hold waiting for someone to answer the call, but when they do, I've always been impressed with the service).

I'm currently on 50Gb per month for $49.95 - excellent value, I believe.

Nah mate, uploads only count with Telstra, not Internode or most other ISPs.

Whoops, Ill stand corrected, had never even heard of that plan.

Thanks for pointing it out fellas, I love this site! :D

I'm on iprimus, have had their $89/month plan for over 2 years, which includes internet/home phone/line rental/to mobile and interstate calls. I'm at Athelstone as well , I am 6.25Kl from exchange, they say it shouldnt work, but it does, I am happy with them and i speak to someone in AUSTRALIA if I have a problem, and its fixed up straight away

You are definitely one of the fortunate ones. I'm also in Athelstone and it's hit or miss because the Paradise exchange is a long way a way with lots of shitty copper in between.

Yes Tel$tra, love your work .... f@$%ers!
