I look forward to getting home and downloading it tonight.

If the AFL site actually loads up it must be a brilliant OS. 8)

The AFL site does load up faster on F3. It doesn't load at all on Opera.
This is a web site programming fault though - using proprietary script from M$.
Firefox has to compromise security at least a little to open it. [At least it did, I don't know what work-around F3 uses.]

Downloaded it first thing today...about 2 hours ago for me  What took most time was loading the Firefox web page to download it. Once there though with broardband it only took a few seconds to download and then a couple of minutes to open and replace the earlier version. Might take a bit longer if you're new to Firefox.

Everything seems to load a bit quicker especially the AFL sites...much much better...and the few sites I'd had probs with ie trying to open them would close the entire browser seem ok now. Whilst setting up Firefox3 it did say that a RealPlayer plug in couldn't be found or something but my RealPlayer still seems ok and LifeFM still works (RPH not streaming just yet). 5aa is very jumpy on Windows Media Player but that might be them as it's doing the same through IE too.

Very happy so far :D

I've found the new version faster in general but it fails to open lots of sites such as my online work email.
Also is it just me or can you no longer use Google Images in FF? When you click through to 'see full-sized image' it says image can't be displayed because it contains errors.

Same old problem. It sounds like F3 has beefed up security and the M$ proprietary scripting shortcuts for IE that make IE so leaky are being blocked - or at least the worst of them are.

Seems ok for me zipzap. I just tried a search for piccies of bunnies (rabbits  ) in Google Images and Yahoo Images and they both displayed full sized pictures without a hitch.

Grrr I've never had that problem before, I wonder if anyone else has experienced it? Works fine in IE. If it's just me any suggestions about what settings I need to mess with? Maybe it's my virus scanning software....

Aha! I just did a search for my problem and it turns out it's a problem with Firefox and the Skype extension. I turned that off and it works fine!

Gotta love the interweb!

I just downloaded it and it only took a few seconds which is great, it looks a lot different but so far so good. Hopefully my work (which also uses FF) will update to the new and improved version as well.

Opera have just brought out a new quite different looking browser with several different colour themes, too.
It is another free browser and the email client is integrated into the browser.

The Latest Headlines RSS feeds don't seem to work properly for me any more in FF3...

I think it's working ok for me zipzap. Don't really use RSS much...just have one bookmarked for my rugby team but I've tried it and the headlines are listed and seems to link through to the main web site ok.

Sorry but I'm afraid I can't offer any suggestions as I've no understanding of RSS whatsoever...I just point, click and pray

Perhaps try a re-install over the top, it sounds like something is just not quite right in the installation. Back up with Mozbackup first though.

I received the same email Psyber...They should name everyone in the Guiness book of records who took part, just over 8,000,000. :D

Been working great for me, even introduced my parents to it last week and they can't believe they've been stuck using Internet Explorer for so wrong and noticed the improvement in performance immediately.
