Using Kogan as a carrier? Seems awfully cheap for great deals on the Telstra 3g network.
3g v 4g. For data use on a mobile how much of an advantage does 4g have in Adelaide?
Samsung Galaxy S3 v Motorola RZR? Normally wouldnt go past the Galaxy as its the best phone going around but the Motorola has an awesome battery life. Anyone played with/compared these two?

I suppose Ill just have to work it out value wise now as 4g over 3g would set me back approx $800 for 2 years. Not sure thats worth it for some extra speed especially as I have access to wireless at home and sometimes at work.

$800 for 2 years? shouldn't cost you anymore then 3g. If you have a 4g enable phone it will automatically connect to the 4g service without anymore extra charge. I've only used 4g in WA and didn't get charged for it. Im with optus so havent been in the city recently to connect to 4g here in adelaide. My brother is with telstra and has 4g and also loves it over 3g

Are we actually looking at the smart phone itself or looking at the provider plan..?
Samsung Galaxy s3 is hard to beat.
Re: Advice - Help me get a new Smart Phone
My employer pays my phone bill and supplies a basic phone.
I upgrade the phone.

Personally anything that supports 4g and has good battery life will win me over and and at the very least a battery that can be carried and replaced easily like current non Apple phones. I wont care if its Apple, Samsung or Atari.
