Computer processing unit question

Postby westozfalcon » Fri Apr 03, 2009 12:11 pm

I was wondering if anyone could explain the basic difference between the types of processing units within computers.

Whilst you can obviously compare the power e.g. 2.0ghz, 2.4ghz, is there any difference in performance and quality between say a Pentium, Celeron, Dual Core, Core Duo etc?
