ipod touch not connecting to itunes via wireless

Help, tried everything suggested on the net.

I've just got a 2nd gen Ipod Touch 16g.

I've just downloaded itunes latest version. I can put songs on there easy enough but when I navigate around on the ipod itself I can't connect to my wireless network at home.

Anyone got any ideas?

For info to others with the same problem....

It was fixed by putting the MAC address in the access list.
