Have you lost the cable that came with it (I think it comes with camera to firewire connector?) or need something different to what came with it?
If you do have an existing cable of some sort does the PC not recognise it being connected? (disregard if you have lost the one that came with it)
Do you have a cable that connects it to TVs, Videos, etc via AV? Im assuming you could perhaps buy a cheap TV card for your PC that could take this input also?

Providing it is a standard mini-USB connector on the camera there should not be much of a problem buying a cable. Any computer outlet should be able to get them - a wholesaler named Anyware usually carries a wide range and you can probably see them on their website - I think just the pricing is hidden if you are not a registered reseller.

I have an older Sony DSC F707 and I have about 3 cables that work with it - it am not sure which one is the original anymore!
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

Depends if it's USB or Firewire.
Just head to Dicksmiths if they are close... or better still a PC store and they can help you.

The orginal cable is MIA and the only connection appears to be firewire. Strange that I have a 4 pin outlet on my laptop. As the camera also needs a 4 pin. Anyway Ive got a fireware cable, 4 pin to 4 pin but the laptop dosent see the camera at the moment.
