If you are going to get one, make sure you get one that updates automatically. Saves being directed the wrong way down a one way street.
I've got a TOM TOM (dunno if they sell them over there, be suprised if they don't) and stuck Ken on it. Guy with an Aussie accent.
Lots of extras, hotels, garages, poinits of interest, a good road map with street names, eta, average speed etc, distance to next direction change, quickest route, shortest route etc, etc.
Costs over here about $350. Price has come down a lot over the last year. I paid $700 last Christmas.
Fouond it pretty good, and auto updates when street layouts change, but dependant on notification of course.
