"Backing" up Wii games

Postby Dirko » Wed Dec 29, 2010 5:00 pm

My kids got a wii for Xmas and I wish to back up/download games just in case.

I am familiar with torrents etc, but all the zip files etc I am completely lost. Can someone explain how to extract the files and burn them to a disk so I can play 'em on the wii?

I have no idea !

You need winrar - software that allows you to extract the compressed files, google it and you can get it for free.

Then you are away

Exactly right use winrar to extract the file. It will then be an iso file which you can then burn.

I would reccomend backing the games up to an external HDD and playing it off there. If you go to this web site www.wiihacks.com it will show you how to do this.
