Super 15 Rugby

Waratahs listed as outsiders this week for the game in Christchurch. With the physical pounding they took from the Reds and you'd think the Crusaders will be very pumped (also had a week off) I just can't find myself to put money on the 'Tahs like I have for the first two games.
Should be an awesome game to watch though!

Brumbies and Reds should be good too, I'll tip the Brumbies despite their shocker as Queensland got the bejesus physically belted out of them last week against the 'Tahs.

Argh, Waratahs started off well (except for poor kicking as usual, why they dont have Beale as full time kicker is beyond me) but have fallen in a big hole since and are getting smashed. Expected this with the hard game last week, the Crusaders coming off a week off and the emotions of the earthquake on Christchurch.
Interesting that the Waratahs haven't played at the ground theyre playing at tonight in Nelson since the 1800s!
Sonny Bill will be good.

Lions 32
Blues 41
Lions gave the blues a bit of a scare and led at half time.

Sharks just smashed the Western Force 39 to 12
it was always going to be tough for the Force after having a player sent off early, Sharks were relentless and ended up scoring 4 tries to nil

other results for this weekend so far
Crusaders 33 Tahs 18
Blues 41 Lions 32
Chiefs 38 - Rebels 10
Reds 31 - Brumbies 25

Brumbies pumped 52-10 by crusaders. Thought we might have a real crack when we scored first try but the effort after that was nothing short of pathetic. Its only early but ill nearly say we are stuffed and finished for season.

Brumbies will be worst aussie team this year. If they still have justin harrison playing must be issues.

We wont make finals but i reckon we will finish above rebels and force and give reds a nudge. Tahs will be best aussie team by a mile, just cant wait for them to choke in finals again.
We have big problems this year, need to sort out quickly or could be a few lean years

fair call. basing my call on reds and tahs being the best by a fair margin, with force to gain some improvement and rebels and brumbies being left behind. top spot with conference system makes this season more interesting then others.

Not sold on the conference idea yet. The tahs are by far best aussie team but if this season was played under old system i dont think they are good enough to finish top 6 let alone make semis. Think aussie teams are a faur bit behind and if we are not good enough we dont deserve to be given a finals spot on a platter.

Fair call, but they are the benefits and negatives of a conference system. western conference has smashed the eastern conference in the NBA for as long as i can remember. that said it does keep the competition more interesting on a range of levels.

Crusaders to be a tough unit to beat again this year, and they still have Richie to come back
