A Kiwi workmate was so confident of NZ making the final that he has taken a week off work and booked a package with accom, flights and final ticket. Cost him a packet when he bought it months ago. I keep reminding him of the Kiwis crap record in WC semis and telling him we are coming to get them. Lets just say he wasnt so cocky today

Commiserations - unfortunately I don't have the same strength as a little bit does die every four years.

This time last WC Mr MK and I were crying into our respective beers as both of our SANFL teams fronted up to a Grand Final we couldn't enjoy. Both rugby teams are still in it. Bring on the semis.

A work colleague is South African. Two weeks ago bought flights, accom, tickets for this weeks South Africa V NZ Semi-final.

He's still going, but he's now not overly interested in the outcome.
