Tahs 21-25 Reds
Massive choke by the Tahs, steal the lineout with a minute remaining and should have iced the game.
Instead they give away a penalty and let the Reds score a 80m try to win in the 80th minute

I didn't see a penalty? Thought they just gave possession away, very casual. Wedgie won't be happy....

After the Tahs stole the lineout they worked themselves into a try scoring position only about 10m out and gave away a penalty.
But yes the main turning point was that disastrous kick, what was he thinking giving it back to them

It doesn't seem as bad because I didn't get to see any of it. Got it on the IQ to watch but not sure if should or not!
Still tossing up whether to stay home and watch the Tahs v Rebels this Friday night or go to the North trial.

Tahs dominated most of the night. Reds never looked like winning until the last few seconds.
Tahs should easily beat the Rebels.
Plenty of action Friday night, Chiefs v Blues at 5pm, Tahs v Rebels at 7, Rd 1 of NRL, A-League, Cricket and Gold Coast v Geelong NAB cup.
Not going to the Parade for the trial game, aint going anywhere near town while Clipsal is on

Its kind of a tradition of mine to go to Friday night trials at Norwood when Clipsal is on, walked there a few times stopping at many pubs, North always seem to play there over Clipsal. I try to make it for Norwood for any North game so I can enjoy a decent beer for a change!
Just watched a bit of the Rugby Extra which goes through the highlights of each game, that will do me, its not as heartbreaking just watching the highlights!
I should be encouraged though with the amount of decent players to come back for the Tahs althought the Reds had a couple out too.
I reckon we'll smash the Rebels but should be good to watch, would have loved to have gone over but would have really pushed it with the missus as I was in Melb last weekend too!

Yay a fairly comfortable win for the Tahs with a bonus point tonight, first match was an interesting one too with the Chiefs beating the Blues quite comfortably. Looking forward to the next double header tomorrow night and watching the South African game tomorrow morning, Love Rugby season!

Blues fought back well in 2nd half but yeah the Chiefs smashed them with some great breaks in the first half.
