Creek will become the fourth Aussie to play for the Timberwolves, bringing them equal with the Spurs and Bulls for most Aussies to play for a franchise

That's right I never thought about that.

Minnesota: Longley, Heal, Jawai, Creek

San Antonio: Gaze, Heal, Mills, Baynes

Chicago: Longley, Anstey, Schenscher, Bairstow

The Atlanta Hawks have just announced they've signed Isaac Humphries for the rest of the season too.

Creek got a DNP - CD today

Humphries would become the first Aussie to play for the Atlanta Hawks

With his NBA debut today for Atlanta Isaac Humphries becomes the record breaking 13th Aussie currently playing in the NBA joining Andrew Bogut, Patty Mills, Aron Baynes, Matthew Dellavedova, Dante Exum, Joe Ingles, Ben Simmons, Thon Maker, Jonah Bolden, Ryan Broekhoff, Deng Adel and Mitch Creek.

Humphries becomes the 23rd Aussie overall to have played in the NBA that list includes Luc Longley, Andrew Gaze, Shane Heal, Mark Bradtke, Chris Anstey, Luke Schenscher, Nathan Jawai, David Andersen, Cameron Bairstow and Mangok Mathiang.

Mitch Creek with the record....."Most points scored on debut for the Timberwolves by an Australian"

Jawai scored 4 points, both Longley and Heal had globes

Big playoff series for Ben Simmons...Nets, as has been their tactic for non shooters during the season, look like they will simply leave Simmons open..

Well, Ben Simmons couldn't have had more of a stark difference between his Game 1 and today's Game 2 performance...and no surprises he didn't hear any boos from the stands
Game 1 L 102-111 9 points, 4/9 FG, 1/5 FT, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 3 blocks, 3 turnovers, -21
Game 2 W 145-123 18 points, 8/12 FG, 2/4 FT, 12 assists, 10 rebounds, 2 steals, 3 turnovers, +23 (Triple Double)

And in the other game today the LA Clippers came back from 31 points to beat the Golden State Warriors - NBA playoff record comeback

Both series are now tied at 1-1

Some sort of final minute from Tatum in Boston today to go with his 26 pts.
3 ball, assist & then the final dunk plus 1.
C’s take a 2-0 lead to Indiana.

Great 4th quarter by 76ers today, outscoring the Nets 27-17 to take the win 112-108 and the 3-1 series lead back home.
Embiid was HUGE - 31 pts, 16 reb, 7 ast, 6 blocks, 2 steals
Simmons wasnt the star as in Game 3, but was a solid contributor 15 pts, 8 reb, 8 ast

Jared Dudley was again 'involved', was put in the starting line up and then got into a push and shove/scuffle that got him and Butler ejected in the 3rd quarter...strangely though of the two ejections, it may have been worse for the Nets

Patty Mills equalled the record of Luc Longley for the most NBA Playoff games by an Australian today, but it wasn't the result that Patty wanted, with the Spurs going down 117-103 in Texas. The Nuggets take back home curt advantage, with the series even at 2-2

Mills has 12 points, with the Game 3 hero Derrick White coming back to earth with only 8 points on 3/8 shooting (0/2 3pt)

NBL alum Torrey Craig was huge for the Nuggets scoring 18 points on 6/9 shooting (5/7 3pt) with 8 rebounds...the 18 points equalled his total output in the first three games of the series

Far from surprising...the Pistons look SOOO much better with Blake on the floor, the game is actually worth watching...also Thon would be enjoying that he hasn't been put on a poster in the first 8 minutes

Celtics SWEEP the Pacers, winning Game 4 110-106 behind seven players scoring in double figures, lead by 20 (on just 9 shots) from Gordon Hayward
Baynes - 2 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal

Warriors take a 3-1 lead, beating the Clippers 113-105, with Durant scoring 33 and Klay 32....Steph did his James Harden impersination going 1/9 from downtown. It's always going to be tough for the Clippers if Lou Williams is shooting 2/10.
Bogut - 8 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists ans fouled out in 21 minutes

Crazy game in Portland, with the Blazers winning 118-115 to take the series 4-1 on a 37 foot game winner from Dame Dollar
- Lillard scored 50 points (17/33 FG, 10/18 3pt) to go with 7 reb, 6 ast, 3 steals
- The 50 points Lillard scored is the most ever scored by a Blazer in a playoff game
- The rest of the Trailerblazers were as cold as Lillard was hot from three, going 3/17
- The Thunder as a team shot 55% FG (even with Russ shooting 11/31  ) and 45% from 3 and still couldn't win

The Raptors won through the the second round with a 115-96 Game 5 victory against the Magic
- Leonard scored 27 points on just 11 FGA (8/11 FG, 5/5 3pt, 6/6 FT) and was +38
- The two Toronto Point Guards combined for 19 assists (10 for Van Vleet and 9 for Lowry) only one short of the entire Orlando team
- The game has some HUGE +/-
-----The Raptors starting five lead by Leonard +38, Lowry +31, Green +28, Gasol +24, Siakim +22
-----The Magic starting five is simply UGLY "lead' by Fournier -42, Gordon -32, Augustine -27, Vucevic -25, Isaac -22

There was only one team playing Playoff basketball in the first half as the 76ers won Game 5 122-100 and the series 4-1
- The Nets scored 15 and 16 points in the first two quarters
- Embiid top scored with 23 points, with Simmons the next highest scorer with 13 points, as 13 Sixers saw time, with 9 players scoring 7 or more points
- Ben Simmons 13 points (6/10 FG, 1/3 FT), 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 turnovers +34
- Jonah Bolden 6 points (2/4 FG, 2/4 3pt), 1 rebound, 1 block, 2 tunrovers -4

The Nuggets won the pivotal Game 5 to take the 3-2 series lead, with a 108-90 victory
- Shooting said it all in the game Denver shot (50%FG, 42% 3pt, 80%FT) while the Spurs were (41%FG, 29% 3pt, 60%FT)
- The Will Barton off the bench experiment worked again with Torey Craig being a defensive beast and Barton shooting 7/11 for 17 points off the bench
- Patty Mills 5 points (2/8 FG, 1/5 3pt) 3 rebounds, 2 assist, 2 steals, -3
