One year, he's expected to be a first round pick in the NBA draft in June.

Couple of excellent reads, he seems to have his head screwed on right. Good luck to him

If he gets drafted is there any monetary gain for Adelaide?

Surely not? His stats haven't been amazing at all. I'd expect more scoring out of a potential first round pick

Highly rated from high school and he's bypassed college to play against men...plenty of scouts have made the effort to get here to take a look at him and see the league up close.

I don't think so, pretty sure it was only a 1 year deal but if it were a 2 year deal then potentially they could get some on a buyout.

European players that are under multi-year contracts with their clubs over there and then get drafted often have their contracts bought out.

Perth Wildcats legend Shawn Redhage has announced he's going to retire at the end of the season. The three-time NBL champion also won a championship in Puerto Rico in 2013 and is a former Olympian representing his adopted Australia at the 2008 Olympic Games. He will play his 372nd game for the Wildcats this round which will see him pass James Crawford into second on the Wildcats all-time games played list.

Worshipped in Perth 'Flophage' was a difficult player to like but deserves immense respect for all he achieved especially after coming back from that devastating hip injury here in Adelaide in January 2011.

Not exactly a surprise but Melbourne United have released import Devin Williams who has been out injured since Round 13 and will keep his replacement Josh Boone on for the rest of the season instead.
