A good win perhaps a little easier than expected.

Australia 81 (Mills 20, Andersen 17, Ingles 13) def China 61 (Wang Shipeng 21, Yi Jianlian 13, Chen Jianghua 10)

Everytime Channel 9 showed bits and pieces of the game Patty Mills was always looking to do things by himself rather than holding things up and looking for a better option. Admittedly channel 9 only showed about 20 mins total of the game but I reckon he only did 4 or 5 passes in that time, the rest he wanted to do alone.

Reminds me of Shane Heal at Sydney 2000 where he pretty much did the same thing.

Might be a good idea for them to give Adam Gibson a go and see what he can do like they should have Brett Maher in 2000 when he only got about 2 mins for the whole tournament.

Anyway rant over, just passionate about basketball and good to get a win.

how many blocks against did mills have?
he def shouldnt of taken the dive sometimes when he had a man open coz hes 6 foot driving against 7 footers, makes it real hard.

last olympics he was just blowing past them with his pace.

Not sure but with the Tigers paying most of his contract another team could pick him up on the cheap.

The 36ers should look into it.

The 36ers beat touring US college Nicholls State tonight 85-75 despite only playing five actual 36ers players. Mitch Creek & Stephen Weigh each scored 23 and Daniel Johnson had 17.

In some very big news for the NZ Breakers they've announced they have re-signed import & league MVP runner up Cedric Jackson for this season.

Next up for the Boomers vs Great Britain on Sunday morning at around 4:30am. Pretty much a must win to advance to the QF's.

Wow big comeback by the Boomers. With 6 minutes to play in the third period we were down 51-35 then they just went bang and won 106 - 75  Have not seen them play so well as they did in that last period and a half. Even Andrew Gaze was stunned

Jim, is that right Patty hit a 3 at the buzzer to win the game 82-80?
