It was ridiculous, Cotton hit 2 of the 3 free throws to put the game into OT and Perth went on to win it.

The Brisbane Bullets today announced they've released import Jermaine Beal. Not surprising really his form has been ordinary all season and his attitude in recent games has been poor. Big fall from grace for the 2014 Grand Final MVP.

Very slow start but started to get their mojo back towards the end. Jacobson impresses me more and more each game

Phaaark me Carfino is shit to listen to. For 20 years he's been the most anti Sixers commentator, coupled with him doing his beloved Kings games - it's unbearable.

Round 17 games & times:

Thu 5pm Cairns at NZ Breakers

Fri 7pm Sydney at Brisbane

Sat 7pm Adelaide at Illawarra
Sat 9pm Melbourne at Perth

Sun 2:30pm NZ Breakers at Sydney (SBS)
Sun 6:30pm Brisbane at Cairns

Also the Cairns Taipans veteran and two-time Olympian Mark Worthington has announced he's going to retire at the end of the season. He won an NBL championship in 2009 with the South Dragons and also won a championship in Germany in 2010 but will probably best be remembered for his Andrew Vlahov-like defensive enforcer type role with the Boomers at two World Championships in 2006 & 2010 and of course two Olympic Games in 2008 & 2012.
