Top match to be at. Loved the retro jerseys. Anyway danger of reverting back to it? They also had the old school logos on the scoreboard. Bit surprised they went with the Magic logo for Melbourne as I thought they were called south melbourne magic? Thought they may have used the old tiger logo.

How good has sobey been this year? The games I went to last year he would only get 5-10 minutes for game. Improved out of sight

Even though United were the Tigers and have no relationship with the Magic for this heritage round they're going to be wearing Magic singlets for their home game against Cairns on Friday night.

Sobey's been an absolute star this season and if true he can opt out of his contract at the end of the season hopefully he gives the Sixers a discount to come back because I doubt they'll be able to match some of the offers that will be coming his way.

It would hurt if he left but you've got to strike while the iron is hot he's 26 now he was a development player at Cairns and wouldn't be on much here just got the 2/3 year deal for opportunity and will no doubt think about trying to make the most of the situation before age creeps up. He will deserve every cent of it with the way he's played this season.

Any reason why they are going that way? why are they trying to totally eradicate the old tigers history?
