Certainly looked like a good 3 seconds or so to me Johno. That Redhage block to seal the win was massive, what a game and what a series!

Game 2

Perth 87 (Lisch 15, Wagstaff 15, Knight 13, Hire 12, Redhage 12, Nevill 10) def New Zealand 86 (Wilkinson 28, Bruton 20, Pledger 14, Jackson 10)

Series tied 1-1

Also in other news the NBL have now announced the league will remain a nine team competition next season.

I made a big mistake calculating the times for tonight's GF Game 3.

The game actually starts at 5pm our time not 10pm so anyone planning on watching the game as if it were live at 10:30pm will need to be extra vigilant to avoid scores/result tonight.

Hopefully with the new TV deal the Grand Final will be shown live next season. It's a joke that such a massive game is delayed by 5.5 hours.

Yeah the timeslots are going to be better next season with at the minimum a live game on Ten around 2pm on Sunday afternoons and a delayed game on One at 9:30pm on Friday nights.

Ten/One shafted the NBL royally this season but IMO the NBL have come out of it with a better deal now.

Was in the same boat. Nodded off around 3/4 time, only to wake up and find a NZ player being interviewed.

At least Perth didn't win. :D

A very good draw for the Boomers that, depending on the qualifier (could be a Greece/Lithuania/Russia/Croatia type) would be a good chance to finish 3rd in our group and thus avoid having to play the USA in the next round.

Not good news for Kings fans with coach Shane Heal confirming Julian Khazzouh is leaving, import Jerai Grant won't be re-signed and young gun Anatoly Bose could potentially be leaving too:

Q. Kings fans liked your young frontcourt of Khazzouh, Jerai Grant and Anatoly Bose, are those guys coming back?

A. I definitely won’t have all three back. We’re not sure about Toly yet, Jules will go and I won’t be offering Jerai a contract.
