Could have had a good lead if we didn't lose our heads a little towards the end of the half

Goulding on fire.

Great block from Sobey- love the energy he brings to the court.

Great win. Almost two wins.

Increases our chances of making the playoffs at the expense of United's chances.

Watching the game now, had planned to watch after the cricket but result got spoilt.

I can't believe what I am seeing from DJ. Felt like he was at about 10% from long range before tonight and then he turned into Steph Curry.

As for EbE Ere, he may win it for us in the second and make me look stupid but gee wiz his first half was appalling...again

The stadium was as loud as it has been. Great atmosphere. Need to sign Randle. He was very good.

Demopoulos cost Melbourne any chance the had in the last few minutes. Melbourne had possession and he gives away a stupid tech foul from the sidelines, Goulding was fuming at him and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it :D :D.

The dome was rocking tonight, just like the old days.

DJ and Randle had outstanding games, most of the others were disappointing.

NBL game on Channel 9 this weekend:

Sunday afternoon: NZ Breakers @ Sydney at 2:30pm (9Gem)

If you've got Fox Sunday night's Melbourne vs Perth game is an 'open air' game where the roof of Hisense Arena will be open.

I don't rate Walker real high but thought he played his role and competed well. Also managed to get some points early and didn't give away the silly fouls he can often committ. Petrie was well down and he picked up his slack. Apart from that your spot on, two stand outs and a few honest contributions but otherwise some disappointing output.

This is the problem we have in my eyes. Our best is as good as anyone but DJ either has a match winner type game or stinker and if "The Handle" goes cold we don't gave a lot of other tricks up our sleeve. Gibbo doesn't score enough and I don't think Sobey who seems to have an X factor gets enough game time.

What we really need now is some consistency and a good away run. If we make it we could certainly rattle some cages.

Gozu, how did we come about signing Randle? Did we ship off that McNeil bloke because he was no good? Can you see us keeping him?

McNiel injured his shoulder during the pre season Blitz tournament dunking competition and we didn't see the best of him. Was the leading scorer pre season.
Would love to keep Randle but higher honours await him I think. Had the pleasure of talking to him late last week, both him and his family love it here.

Good win but we need to stop the lapses in concentration
