Good for him it was only a calf though, he had been having achilles problems and at the time it looked like he might've done his achilles.

Still a big loss for the Wildcats though if he's unable to play in the GF.

In a surprising development with Damian Martin ruled out for the GF the Wildcats look set to bring Brad Robbins out of retirement to be his replacement. He's back training with the team and the NBL have confirmed they could do it.

Also the Townsville Crocs today announed they've re-signed young guard Mitch Norton to a 3 year deal.

Good news for the 36ers & Lightning who will continue on as tenants under Adelaide Arena's new owners SA Scouts and the SA Church Basketball Association.

Nah he signed a 3 year deal Johno but still a cause for celebration that the Marty Clarke era has finally come to an end.

2010/11: 2nd to bottom

2011/12: Bottom

2012/13: Bottom

Should've been a championship contender this season with that loaded roster and to finish bottom with it I think has to be the worst coaching performance in NBL history. The previous two seasons he wasn't given much to work with but this season had absolutely no excuses to at least make the playoffs. His buddy assistant coach Mark Radford isn't going to be brought back either.

Former 36ers star Brett Maher is the front runner to take over the reigns.

I hope so. I heard he was pretty happy staying in QLD with some state league job but a hard nosed coach like him would be great for the 36ers.

Big news the owners of the Townsville Crocs have relinquished their NBL licence effectively shutting down the club unless new owners can be found.

Give the licence to a Brisbane-based consortium, and bring back the Bullets.
