Tonight, the Sydney Kings have set an unwelcome NBL record.

The lowest team score in a completed match, scoring 48 points versus Cairns, who notched only 60 - the lowest winning team score in a NBL match, over the 32 year history of the league.

Thankfully that Taipans/Kings debacle wasn't televised. The Blaze/Wildcats game turned out to be a close one in the end with new Perth recruit Ater Majok showing his athleticism on two big blocks on Wortho late to seal the Wildcats win.

Good to see the 36ers get up over the Hawks tonight too.

Shocking performance that against the second worst team in the league and on national TV too. Second lowest score in 36ers history too.

Beyond disgraceful really. Some of those numbers are terrible. Quite when the 36ers will string together two good games is becoming a real mystery.

Must be Wollongong month - six telecast games. Compared to Adelaide, Gold Coast and Sydney with three. Good to see, though, that the schedule is accomodating the likely finals aspirants in many ways.

Mind you, unless they start showing Sydney at 11pm to help cure insomnia, suspect not many will be complaining about less Kings games.

For those not attending the 36ers/Breakers game tonight will be on NBL Radio.

Must say I enjoyed that Wildcats/Tigers game last night on TV. For all his faults Homicide does bring a lot to the game and his antics before, during and after the game on Twitter get people talking about the league. He backed it up and led the Tigers to their first win in Perth in about three years.
