Based on not much more than a hunch, I reckon the 36ers will spring a surprise (non Hodge related) with their next choice - quite possibly someone already seen in the NBL not that long ago.

The 36ers new import is a 6-5 SG/SF called Ron Howard.

A new name for me, I must admit. The D-League figures aren't sensational, but okay (16.3pt, 3.8 r/b, 2.3 asst). Hopefully he slots in okay.

36ers vs Kings 7:30pm Friday night on One HD.

Also by the sounds of things the Kings have officially signed Mark Dickel who was to make his debut against the 36ers tomorrow night but has gone down injured in training. Been about 8 or 9 years since the Kiwi international last played in the NBL with the Victoria Titans and was surprised to read Dickel is also the current coach of the Albanian national team!

Never should have let the Kings back in the game. Very lucky not to lose as that was an open look for 3 at the end by the Sydney player. Not sure who decided to have that game on tv though.

Yeah just like the Fox days too many TV games are Kings games. I thought the game was pretty ordinary but was impressed with Eddie Shannon. The ease at which he's able to get inside, draw defenders and find open guys plus being a more than solid shooter makes him a pretty good pick up for the Sixers.

I'm gonna love watching Mitch Creek play over the next 15 years.

Can seriously play and will not back down from a confrontation.
