TV much prefers the almost universal format of 10 min quarters because games can fit into a 2 hour block 12 min quarters drag the game out to 2.5 hour blocks.

Sounds like Jawai is going to play against the 36ers on Saturday night.

Very poor second half by the 36ers tonight, Perth won 79-66.

Derek Rucker's commentary the past two nights has been pretty good.

Kirk Penney turned back the clock tonight 36 points. Big win by the Hawks over the Breakers 96-75 and still without their starting backcourt in Kevin Lisch and Rhys Martin.

Must admit I don't think I've ever seen this many injuries around the league to this many name players at the start of a season before.

Corey Webster has just been waived by New Orleans so will be interesting to see if as expected he comes back to the Breakers, they could use him!

Melb up 66-59 at 3-Qtr time.

Still in it but it's starting to look like it's getting away from the 36ers a bit.

First time I have watched us all year and you hate to lose but it was a good effort. Probably that tiny patch in the third was the difference.

It's a very different looking team though.

Looking forward to heading to AA sometime next month.

Sucks to lose to that team. I hate that weasel Chris Goulding something fierce.

Gibson has his moments but need more from him. Johnson looking better than when he came back at the end of last season. Nobody really showed up down the stretch again though.
