Case closed. Honestly the starting 5 would lucky to be on the bench in the 2nd 5 10 years ago! :?

Admittedly Perth are the championship favourites but I never understood why a lot of people thought the 36ers wouldn't be down near the bottom of the ladder again this season. Shocking season opening result regardless.

Im not sure what was worse..
- The inability of the Sixers (Croswell did a couple of times) to penetrate and get an easy layup
- The ease at which the Wildcats had at getting shots in the paint

A bit of import action today the 36ers have signed Diamon Simpson who had been playing in Turkey to replace John Williamson. Simpson supposedly arrives today. Also the Blaze have sacked Mike English too.

Hopefully Simpson goes alright, watched him a bit when he was playing college for St. Mary's.

One HD gave the NBL the option of one live game a week or three delayed telecast games a week....they chose the later.

Plus Ten/One exercised a clause in the contract to show games "near live" which was specified to mean within three hours of tip-off.

I was wondering why no games were on live. Very disappointing considering the NBA lock out, I was hoping to be able to watch some live ball on TV.

Hopefully the 6ers can put up a decent showing today in the Gong.
