Worked for Chicago well enough in the 90s. Unless you think Longley and Rodman were putting up lots of points.
Playoffs actually seem to suit those teams that have fewer options for some reason. Not sure how often we've seen the side with the most dominant player lose a series anyway.
Rodman won the Bulls many games in the playoffs, just ask Geroge Karl. MAybe i should send you the Bulls dynasty dvd.
No bench hey, remember Toni Kukoc, only won 6th man of the year played off the bench
Don't worry I watched all those playoff games. Show me where I said Rodman didn't contribute, or where I said they had no bench. Kukoc is the third after Jordan and Pippen. Not too many blokes were offensive threats in that team. They all had a different role to play, and not all had the job or scoring. So your comment about needing more than 3 blokes who score is just wrong. Championships are littered with teams that had a couple of standout offensive players and a bunch of people who had roles other than scoring and did those well.
Now if you'd made a comment along the lines of the players outside the 3 stronger players weren't contributing as much as they'd need to in a playoff series, I'd agree with you. But history has shown year after year that 3 blokes (sometimes even just 2) who are real big offensive threats can carry a side to a series in the playoffs, but they need the rest of the side to be playing their roles well.
I would agree, the Heats bench are not contributing but doesnt mean they are not good enough, Miller, Bibby, Jones, House all capable of big games, just need to get there system playing well together.
If i had to pick a favorite for it all at this stage though the Bulls are playing out of this world considering what Rose is doing, But how do you go past the Spurs, a team of know real Star standouts, Just an Absolute TEAM.
