More good news for you Bulls fans New Jersey Just beat the Celtics. Bit of a slide now for Boston, memories of last years second half which was bad, but still got to the finals !

And Miami are up 53-39 early in the 3rd over the spurs

When Chicago beat Washington tomorrow they will be a full game clear on top.

Pretty disappointing effort by the Spurs so far, I am a bit sick of teams just rolling over for Miami. They are not that good.

Maimi on song are the best team in the comp. It's just when they aren't on song that they look ordinary.

Good sign this game though is LeBron has been quiet and they're winning fairly comfortable at the moment.

Huge win ..... Must be getting close to play offs time. I ve always been a believer that cream rises to the top. And fingers crossed the heat are at the top of there game at seasons end. Was hoping for a win but thirty points over the spurs is a bit flattering

Did the spurs have full line up ? Duncan play ? Can't see bosh dropping 30 . Can't wait to get home and watch the replay

Yes they were full strength.

Only 10 days ago Spurs hammered the Heat by 30, pretty amazing really.

I don't read too much into regular season wins. God afl sides use traveling as an excuse when they do it once a fortnight. Or twice a year if your collingwood. Course sides are gonna have off nights with how hectic an NBA season is. Play off time can't come soon enough . Bring it on

If Chicago can take top spot then Boston and Miami will probably meet in the Conference Semis... I would love that.

Massive turn around, Bosh was big this time with 30 and 12, seems his whinge has helped, they are feeding him more in the low post and he is producing

Chicago have the softer schedule of the East's big guns, so you'd think they'll finish with the #1 seed.

Boston might slide behind Miami yet, which may mean they roll up to Round 1 of the playoffs against New York.

That's a nightmare for them. Anything could happen against Melo, Amare and Billups in run and gun. If they get past them, they'll have Miami on the road, then the Bulls on the road. Ouch.

I think Boston made a poor choice getting rid of Perkins. He was a huge defensive presence, its one thing holding the bucks to 56 points, But when u got Wade, james, bosh or Melo, STAT and chauncy or Rose Boozer and deng u need all the defense you can get. But alot wrote the celtics off last year after they went .500 for the second half of the year and look what happened.

The Big dance throws up so many suprises, nothing is set.

Bulls are on fire, D.Rose is a star. would love to see how they take on the finals knowing there gonna be the team to beat, should current form remain. Knicks are over rated, any one who has watched them would notice this. On another note Perkins made his OKC starting debut today. makes them a whole lot more dangerous in the west !

I would be worried about facing the Bulls after they have had 2 straight first round knockouts plus that monster series with Boston 2 years ago they will be keen to show what they can do.

I expect the usual Bulls with D.Rose filling all stat lines to get it done, when everyone else is struggling he jst seems to step up and do it all, but i think the East is gonna be real tough for all concerned. the best team from the East will of definately deserved a Finals spot !

It's amazing just how clear cut the top 8 teams in the league are. Orlando are still very dangerous with Howard, and the Durant/Westbrook combination might just have gotten more leeway with a keyway presence. Denver and Atlanta, the nearest challengers in each conference, are nowhere near Chicago, Boston, Miami and Orlando in the East, or San Antonio, Dallas, Los Angeles and Oklahoma city in the West.

This has been one of the most even seasons in a long time I think. Not only do we have a genuine race for the MVP, but a lot of the seeding positions are still up for grabs and the best team in the comp is far from clear cut.
