Very bad loss for the 36ers.

Creek gone for the rest of the season and obviously next weekend's dunk comp too and now looks like Gary Ervin will be pulling out of the All-Star game after injuring his knee in last night's game too.

How long is the 36'ers coach contracted for?

I'm starting to think he's a significant part of the problem.

that list is easily a championship contending team,
yet they still struggle...

something must be wrong behind scenes, not good for adelaide at all.

Marty Clarke is contracted until the end of this season, the final year of his 3 year deal.

I could understand the club not sacking him the last couple of years due to a) the payout and b) not giving him much to work with roster wise but like Johno says this is a championship contending roster.

For this team to effectively be 4 games out of the playoffs at 5-7 is nothing short of a disgrace.

Not good but looks like Ervin is going to play now though.

Tigers SF Bennie Lewis has replaced Mitch Creek in the dunk comp after the reserve and fellow 36er Pero Vasiljevic declined to step in.

36ers guard Jason Cadee has replaced Lisch on the South team for Saturday's All-Star game but will come off the bench with Jonny Flynn elevated into the starting lineup.

Also Kings centre Ian Crosswhite has had to pull out due to injury and Peter Crawford will be replacing him on the North team.

There might be but really there shouldn't be especially in an 8 team league.

Turning into AFL state of Origin, how many players have "pulled out" Caddee an all-star is a Joke, surely got a callup so NBL doesnt have to play for someones flights and accomodation.

I suspect you're right, saves flying another player over, accomodation costs and gives the home fans more to cheer for.

He shouldn't be an all-star but seems the NBL are for the most part going down a 'like for like' replacement route something the NBA doesn't really bother with too much.

Off the top of my head 'only' four players have pulled out (Lisch, Henry, Crosswhite plus Knight was already injured anyway), the NBA most years has 2-3 players pull out such is the nature of ASG's vs having a break/extra recovery time for existing injuries.

Nah I didn't but I watched it and although the first half wasn't much chop I thought the standard really picked up and turned out to be a decent game.

At least the 36ers won something with Stephen Weigh winning the 3 point shootout.
