Carlos Arroyo finally got axed by Miami too.

Troy Murphy has signed for Boston.

I wonder who Chicago will get, rumour at this stage is Rasual Butler from the Clips.

Bibby would be a good fit in Miami. Excellent 3 point shooter and good ball handler. Will give them an extra dimension no doubt. Certainly not the player he was 5 years ago, but doesn't have to be either.

D Howard continually racking up ridiculous numbers another 30 and 16 today with 5 blocks to.

last 10 games averaging near on 28 and 15 with 2.2 blocks and rather surprisingly 1.5 steals. Trying to lift his team no doubt.

Definately in the running but think he is trying to lift the magic, sick of being around about the mark, wants that championship. If he doesnt get one i could see him leaving to when he becomes a free agent.

On another note Grizzlies dismantled the spurs today haha. Z-BO for MVP any one !

Howard for MVP might get some ground if they finish the season strong. LeBron is still in front for mine, but if the heat struggle that might hurt his chances, while Rose would be next, the bulls actually seem less reliant on him than the Heat rely on LeBron and the Magic on Howard.

In terms of a true "most valuable" Howard would probably be the best choice, but the MVP is usually a combination of value, being the best and also they take winning massively into account.

Surley your joking? Who could possibly replace Rose if he misses? The Bulls would be completely different team w/o him at least when James go down you have Wade there who can ease the pain and score big numbers.

They don't need to replace him, they can just play through Boozer more. It was very clear during the Bulls v Heat game that the Heat were lost without LeBron, even with Wade on the floor, while the Bulls did pretty well with Rose sitting.

I'll accept that, I hope I dont have to watch a Rose less Bulls. on another note how do you see the East playing out? Im expecting Boston to struggle now after their stupid trade, Miami still dont all the pieces of the puzzle, we will now see Chicago with a full team. Im going like this Bulls, Heat, Celtics being separated by less then 5 games.

Rose isn't even the leading player on the Bulls roster in terms of +/- over the course of the season.

As best as I can work out, Heat are -4 points on the season when James is off the court, Magic are +28 when Howard sits and the Bulls are +57 when Rose is resting. Make of that what you will, but what it shows is without LeBron one of the best teams in the league is a losing team.

I think Bibby will help the heat alot in terms of experience in big situations giving lebron and wade a little more freedom to create there own space rather then there won shot. Bulls for my mind next year, but coming up short this year, feel there still missing a trick just not sure where lol. Celtics may miss Perkins in the playoffs but there still top of the East without having him most of the season and for mind will stay there

Id take that and many result for the Spurs from here on with a grain (pinch) of salt.

No Tony Parker
Gary Neal plays the most minutes and takes the most shots
Manu plays only 21 min (9 pts, 7 ast, 2 reb)
Blair plays only 16 min

The starters only played limited minutes, but largely because they were playing crap! The reserves were doing as well as the stars, so why not take the chance to give the main guys a lazy game when the game is lost? Especially with Parker out for a while now, the others might have a fair workload in the next month or so.

Bibby is a very good player. Wasn't long ago he was nearing the top shelf. Will be a massive upgrade over Arroyo. Will let Wade play off guard (his natural position) and James at forward (his natural position). Will also mean neither will handle the ball as much, but if they can learn to create without the ball they will be a heck of a side.

What a disgusting 2nd half by the Bulls. 50-33 at the half and we lose 83-80. Disgraceful.

Close to Rose's worst game of the season. 5/21 and 0/6 from 3.

Certainly not his finest game, probably should have given up the ball a lot more to Boozer in the post in hindsight. Very disappointing loss for the bulls. Had a great chance against a team that's struggled of late to pull right up alongside the Celtics and Heat.

Boston looking like they'll beat Phoenix to open up that gap again.
