Miami by 15 almost half time. Bit of a fizzer now after the Cavs got off to a good start.

19 pt lead to the Heat at the half.

Patty Mills- just under 10 mins, 3/3 tonight for 8 pts in the Blazers much needed win over the Clippers.

With the Blazers struggling, has been getting some reasonable court time the past 3 or 4 games, after a long string of DNP-CD.

Quote from ESPN.com
Portland got a boost from Patty Mills, who played nearly 29 minutes and had nine points and seven assists. It was Mills' longest outing this season.

Mills also was effective in pressuring Nash.

"He did a nice job," McMillan said. "He came in defensively, made Nash work. And offensively we've got a guy now who can run the pick-and-roll and spread the floor."

Career high - 7 assists (had only 5 all last season)
Season high - 9 points (scored 11 in last regular season game last season)
Career high - 28 minutes (played only 38 all last season)

Patty Mills was excellent for the Blazers yesterday, shame he didn't get the start with Miller out but he had a team high 7 assists to go with his 9 points.

He is definitely a chance. Rose was brilliant against the Lakers, what a great win that was. Bulls will need to win a lot of games for him to be a chance but he has overtaken Chris Paul now as the Hornets are slumping big time.

What im seeing in the NBA-

- The Knicks (16-9) defeat the Nuggets (129-125) and show Carmello the future is in the Big Apple. Amare has 30pts, 8 reb while Raymond Felton has 17 assists to go with 19 points for the Knicks. Carmello has game highs of 31pts and 13reb for the Nuggets
- Hornets keep slumping (6-9 since starting 8-0) going down 70-77 in Philly as Chris Paul shoots 8/12FG for his 25pts, but can manage only 3 assists (the rest of the Hornets team has ONE) as the rest of his team shoot 16/67FG
- Kobe scores 32 as the Lakers hand the Nets their 7th straight loss 99-92
- Have a guess????.....Where would you see a young PF score 27pts and grab 16 boards and have 5 assists while a young SG has 25pts and 8 assists, but noone else scores more than 7 and they lose 85-94 to the Magic...of course it the LA Clippers
- The Cavs drop to 3-10 on the road getting spanked by the Thunder 77-106 with Durant leading the way with 25pts, 7 reb, while James Harden has 19pts, 3 reb, 3ast in 21min off the bench
- Tim Duncan plays his 1000th regular season game and even makes an appearance in the 4th quarter (first time for 4 games as he averages a career low 28 mpg) although it is purely for ceremony as the Spurs blowout the Blazers 95-78 lead by reserve George Hill with 22pts
