Great win by the 6ers, really hard fought game by both teams trading leads on pretty much every bucket made, both teams where pretty poor offensively from what i watched thoough too many missed shots. Johnson had a huge game 20pts i think and at least 13 rebounds.

Massive game for Johnson, I thought he was going to have a 20/20 at one stage.

He's from WA too.

It was a great win but like Johno I'm also concerned by how bad Schenscher is playing.

He's a shell of the player he was with us back in 08/09.

But in saying that we're still winning without much in the way of production from our supposed star recruit.

Looking forward to seeing how Jonny Flynn goes against the Kings tomorrow now that he's had a bit of time with the Tigers.

Very bad 0-9! I can't believe I had them making the playoffs (4th).

Ervin doesn't seem to be the player he was in 2011 with the Hawks, Abney's no longer a star and all but done and effectively replacing Schenscher with Hinder returning from injury has probably been the biggest issue.

Also Tigers import big man Seth Scott is facing the NBL tribunal today for this little outburst against the Kings where he clipped Ben Madgen's head:

A number of fines came out of that Tigers/Kings game on Sunday as well as from the Wildcats/36ers game on Friday.

Seth Scott got a $500 fine along with a suspended $500 fine + 1 game suspension also:

Accordingly, the NBL has today issued the following fines:

Sydney’s Ian Crosswhite and Melbourne’s Lucas Walker have each been fined $500 for unnecessarily joining in an on-court scuffle;

Sydney’s Ben Madgen has been fined $500 for unacceptable contact to Melbourne Tigers player Seth Scott;

Melbourne Tigers court announcer Wayne Peterson has received a $500 fine for breaching the NBL’s rules during the incident regarding acceptable behaviour from a court announcer. This fine has been suspended but will come into effect if the court announcing guidelines are breached again by Peterson; and

Perth’s Brad Robbins has been fined $500 for unnecessarily joining in an on-court altercation.

The NBL has also issued the following warnings:

Sydney’s Aaron Bruce has been formally warned for significantly exaggerating contact by Melbourne’s Chris Goulding in the third period of the game which led to an unsportsmanlike foul being assessed on Goulding; and

Sydney head coach Shane Heal has been formally warned for leaving the designated bench area during the on-court scuffle for purposes other than those allowed under FIBA Rules.

The game on TV tonight ended up being a pretty good one with the Kings beating the Taipans in OT, 83-76.

Ben Madgen continues to look like a future Boomer, hopefully the 36ers will be able to lure him back here one day.
