Stroke round today.....went reasonably well and a cracking day for it.

85 which included a 7  and a nett 70. Should get something for my troubles.

Stroke for me tomorrow
I'll definitely have a 7 on my card if not worse.
But I'm on half way through a bottle of small batch beam..... could be bad news

Tell me about it :(

The winner on Saturday with a nett 64 was a 36 handicapper  A scratch marker had a nett 73.....

Par comp

Didn't keep a tally until the end.

I was +4 after 9, certainly didn't feel that way
Second 9 was +3 with -5

Overall at +2 which was second behind +5.
However the computer scanner was broken so all scores will be done manually.
Hopefully +2 is enough to stay in the money

Bit of excitement to end my group's round today........

Playing the last hole of the day my drive ends hard up against a tree no shot so out sideways......spray the resulting shot on fairway across a dogleg into trees....find the ball with no option but to head sideways again out onto another fairway. Wait for a group to pass me before playing approach, no idea where the pin is and only a general awareness of the green but obscured by trees......slam dunk hole out for a par  Not that I saw it go in nor did anyone in my group

Unbeknown to me someone else in my group had also holed out from about 100m for eagle.

With the results finally in and the GA handicap at 26.6
I finished equal 3rd but down to 6th on C/B
Another ball coming.
Despite the incorrect assumptions being made, my results are purely down to hard work and dedication and the assistance of beer at 7-56am as I hit the 2nd or 3rd
