Just to upset you golf lovers more, off to Qld in June, have 5 rounds booked on Sunshine Coast and then 5 on Gold Coast. Playing all the resort courses, staying at Twin Waters and on the tee at 12.30 on 7/6. All other rounds are 7am ish, so back to apartment by 11.30, then trudging around with the boss for the rest of the day and doing exactly what she tells me.

All my mail is the courses are fantastic, ensure good supply of golf balls, costing just over 900 for the 10 rounds which includes buggy every day.

Playing at Coolum this coming Sunday - looking forward to it. Plenty of spare golf balls in the bag.

Struggled around Echunga this morning, 1st tee shot sliced onto the road, re load and drive down the middle. 2nd shot goes pin high but into the water on the right... finally after 2 lost balls and a 9th stroke (including penalties) the ball goes in the hole..

Cant complain about the course though, was in very good condition, especially the front 9. The back 9 seemed to be a bit wetter in genaral, with the greens seemingly holding more water than they should have.. even with the constant drizzle/very light rain that hit about the 6th hole..

Would recommend a round of golf/hacking and will definitely be heading back for more

No mean feat to do either of them - I reckon you should have taken strokes off your score for that, not added them on :) . Must have been a fair slice to the road.

Am heading out there in the next couple of weeks also, hopefully can avoid that tricky water hazard on the second this time.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Yeah when i slice the driver it stays slices CK ;)

like i said the other week, 1st rounds on a full size course in a few years, so still a bit rusty.. cant wait to go back after a few more rounds and a hit or 3 at the driving range. If i clean up all by topped shots and mis-hits where the ball doesnt go as far as the divot the club makes i will be very disappointed to go around over about 95ish..

The highlights of the day were par on the 9th, driver 220 up the fairway, short iron to the green and 2 putt.. Driving to within a foot of the creek on 13..

Just need to work on keeping the head down when contact is made and then the ball amazing goes straight

Not when u havent hit a ball for so long, just need to get the swing going again... best place to do it IMO, and u dont have to pick the balls up after ;)

i understand your view mickey but personally even when i have had long spells between rounds i prefer to go for a walk round a course

the added bonus of a driving range is you dont lose your own balls
