Stroke yesterday

Operating on about 3hrs sleep.
Just didnt really feel like anything was natural. There were a few nice shotz but nothing to get excited about. Missed some shocking putts. Couldn't get the speed right at all....all day.
A 47 front 9. After 3 holes it was a practice round.

Back 9....started nicely here....still didnt feel right. But we went bogey, bogey, par, par, par and then the 16th...cracking drive. 140m and missed the green right by 20m....chipped on and left a 5m putt...and i just over hit it BADLY. Raced about 3m past and then i decided that shit didnt deserve to be finished....picked up and moved on and DQd myself. Allowing for a 2 putt back, would have had a 6. Would have had 87. Felt more like a 127 then 87.....

So last Saturday I wasnt in the zone mentally and wouldve had an 87 if for not picking up and moving on.

Today...was better and yet the score didnt reflect it.
28pts overall.
So many putts just burned the edges of the hole...
It happened on 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 16th

All putts rolled over the edge and on any other day they just drop.

But I wasnt alone with putts just rolling past or stopping dead on the edge of the hole which is semingly impossible when over half the ball is over the edge, the whole group suffered that fate today.

Strange....

38 points today, scrubbed the last 2 holes and missed a 1 foot putt a few holes earlier.

Handicap is coming down quickly, into 20.6 after todays round. Not good timing with the scramble final in a couple of weeks

Ok it’s a long shot, but it’s worth a crack.

I have entered a work golf (Ambrose) team into an industry trade day on Thursday March 22nd.

So far I’ve got zero customers interested in playing, they are all too busy and can’t get away for the day.

Kingston Links in Melbourne is the catch though. So on the off chance anyone is over here PM me and I should be able to get you a game.

Golf, lunch, carts, pi55 all on me... well my employer anyway.

Well well well .....ill just blame the cored greens....gotta blame something.
Front 9 of 51....and finished off with 46.

Managed a couple of pars and a birdie on the back....

Due for a change of luck soon!

Do yourselves a favour and take a listen at the Spanish commentary of Ross Fisher's ace in Mexico this morning.......goes exactly how you'd expect [emoji38]
