played Mckracken on friday afternoon. nice conditions, green were in great shape along with the fairways. shot 85 was happy to not enter the water at all. my first since new years eve. so i was happy with the way i went.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

For those of us who have handicaps how did we fare with the new System?

I have lost an entire stroke from 28.1 to 27

Playing Riverside tomorrow and Sunday my home course.

They have programmed around 500k of work around the course for the next 12 months. Hopefully my membership $$$$ goes towards removing a few trees ;)

Bit hard to believe that one. Going up 8 shots is understandable, but going down by that much. Does the handicapper do the cards every 12 months?

Bloke is a new member at the vines and under the old handicap system he was given 26, but under the new system that was implemented on Friday it got adjusted according too how many rounds he had played.

I saw that advertised in the Sunday Mail last weekend. I've been a member there for almost 2 years now and love it.

With the water storage system they have got there now, the fairways are looking damn fine. Ring the pro-shop and speak to Steve to organise a round and tell him you are looking around for a club to join. Benefits of 7 day membership, it won't interfere with watching the footy on a Saturday or Sunday arvo, there is always tee times available to suit you.

I really don't know.

One advantage of joining say the Vines is you get a Club Advantage card which allows you to play 3 rounds per year for free at Blackwood, Flagstaff Hill, Mt Osmond, Tea Tree Gully and Riverside.

Well done, par is a strange comp. Sometimes you can play pretty ordinary and the scores don't always show that but it also works the other way that if you have a bit of bad luck throughout your round you can well and end up with an average score.
Great game for high handicappers, bad game for the low handicappers.
I guess it's karma for the birdie comps where the A graders clean up.
