Had 36 points at South Lakes on Sunday- had 31 with 5 holes to play

Im claiming heat stress...the breeze was nice but when it stopped it was an absolute oven...

Winner had 43 points, so I was miles off the pace!

Played 9 holes at the Pat South Course last night for a 42. Course was in good shape, Greens were slow but were at least consistent and the course played relatively easily despite the Southerly wind blowing making the 1st hole a tough start-up.

Does anyone know whats the story with the temporary green for the 8th and the temporary 12th hole also using the 8th fairway and green? Without playing the full 18 i didnt fully understand the setup thats going on. Are you meant to play the 8th, then the '12th' followed by the 9th so you get a full 18 in?

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Good to hear Schimma. I was stiff as a board from a couple of trainings so figured a walk around the course (usually from rough to rough) would free me up a little!

hit a PB of 46 at Regency this morning, the course has seen better days i reckon, greens were patchy and a couple very soggy, couple fairways were bare and they were testing the sprinkler system...

can't complain much though when it's only $12...
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

went around the north course at the pat today

first round in about a year.

went around in 77

but was fairly happy with how i was hitting them

went through the first 12 holes in record time and then hit the brick wall of groups in front, which slowed down the momentum I had going

and with no one behind i was able to play 2 balls on some of the holes

how is that course playing these days mt79? I learned the game on that course, Dad was mates with then pro Wayne Letts who looked after us, played nearly every Saturday for about 5 years as a teen...

Havent played there for years now. Dad hit an even par round there, and held 'our' course record for about 2 years until I smashed him with a 57! (including a bogey on the 18th!) I to this day dont think I have had a round where everything went as right as that.. :( Used all the good ones in 1 round.

its actually not bad

greens were as fast as ive ever seen them

but given the nature of the course theres nothing to complain about.

as mentioned previously they have certain holes which you can play as either a par 4 or par 3.

its a good course to work on your short game, good course to have a hit if ya havent been out for a while and given the length if you can get on it with noone else you can really rip through your round.

Played the Pat South Course yesterday. Was in good nick all round, fairways are hard so theres plenty of value for your drives and the greens were receptive if you hit a good shot. Shot an 88 with 2 triple boges and 49 on the front which was ugly to say the least.

With the twilight rates after 4 on weeknights ($17 for as many holes as you like) I will get down there for an 18 after work this week.

I played there two weeks ago. Course always looks good there. Definately one of my favourites.
Greens are alway quick there at the best of times but they were definately the quickest that I've ever seen them. You might wanna have a few practice putts before you tee off.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!
