We had two 36 handicappers come in with one and two points each from 9 holes at twilight last week. Struggles!

Your lads were saying today you average 48 players on a Saturday morning. I was really surprised with how low of a number that is, Especially with the standard of the course these days, Thought it'd be much higher.

I do like Regency. Good value too IMO. Maybe the 9 holes is the issue.

tee time is an 8:30am shotgun

Did I mention we are the reigning champs of this comp too!

2nd hit this year since back from USA.
Played with a few mates at west lakes. Didnt enter the comp so just played off the stick.
Shot a 87. Was reasonably happy with that. if I had of putted better could have shot a low 80's score.
Need to try get back into playing regularly.

not a bad little course for what it is really. Certainly in better condition than the North Haven course.

the greens are very big and quite hard to miss them, but somehow I did on occasions.

I played McCracken on Sunday... in a Southern Golf Group pennant fixture... the course was in pretty good order. We had one or two showers come through, but they passed quickly. The wind was ever present but not enough that it made judging distances (into or with it) that difficult.

Enjoyed the day & even won my match.

Greens & bunkers in ripping condition.... plenty of water, as usual but I played the same ball all day.

Thoroughly pissed off at my consistency this week, have shot 86 (could have been an 83 for not a triple bogey on 18) then the next day shot 96. Still picked up prizes for my trouble on both rounds - 5 balls for the 86 and 1 ball for the 96

Was a frustrating day today, played a great front 9, for 20 points...

Back 9 produced 10 points, and I was lucky to scrape that many together

I was the exact opposite today. Today's comp was stroke, I went out in 45 and came home in 38 for a 83 nett 69.

I was happy with that as the back 9 has the 3 hardest (index) holes on it.

It's a funny game. I'm normally a very good 'chip' and my putting lets me down but, Today couldn't chip for shit yet nailed a few big putts which certainly helps your score....
