Simply stunning course.

I've been lucky enough to play there on 4 or 5 occasions on a corporate day, simply brilliant course to play. Tough as nail, but brilliant course.

Yeah I love the Quarry 9. The fairways even though I rarely hit them are like walking on pillows. I used to live a 5 minute drive and if I bought a bucket of balls for $10 and went on the course after 6 they didn't give a shit. Always quiet then so you got 6 or so holes in before dark.

Played Regency again today. A better 46 but still heaps of improvement on the short game to be had and I putted terribly. When it all comes together Im confident I can knock a low 80's there but it could take a while.

Ha I was warming up and about to tee off and heard the crash. Thought you put the cart in to the trees or the beer garden.

played the 15 hole par 50 - north course at the Pat for a 55

was just a bit of a practice round to try out some new techniques etc, which all seemed to go well

had a nice 11m putt for birdie on the 14th

on the last a 102m par 3

hit a 9 iron, was dead at the pin, landed on the front of the green, then had a secondary bounce and still on line and then its landed on the edge of the cup and taken a diversion. I tell ya what, you will get those fitness freaks about getting your heart rate up, to help you burn fat and lose weight etc....**** that, just get a shot going on target, that's enough to get my heart pumping!!

Taking Little Miss Boon ( 14 ) to North Haven tomorrow afternoon.....should be interesting.

She hits a baseball pretty well, kicks a ball well and is an excellent dancer so coordination is not a problem. I expect her to go pretty well.

Will be a sight to behold, I'm sure.

Seriously thinking about joining West Lakes, played there on Sunday and had 111, which is a pretty usual score for18 regardless of what course I play.

Not a bad effort if you found plenty of sand and got close to your personal 18 hole average.
