Currently playing off 25 but was 28 at the start of last year...

Playing much more regularly now with the social club I'm with which of course is helping improve my game...

Have had a couple of very good rounds so far this year so hoping to maybe get it down to 20 by this time next year if I can continue to improve...

Nice work Keefy.

I'm off 12 (11.6) at moment playing every 3-4 weeks with the social club. One day I'll crack that single figure... (I did get to 9.8 or so once...)

Imagine if you could get out and play every week then. You'd probably get down there a bit quicker.

I'd love to play just 1 round off single figures, just to say that I've done it.

Bought a couple of pairs of shoes in there a few weeks ago.

Tomorrow is the last day of the sale, once 5pm hits, the doors close and that's it.

the smosh golf club played at the pat on sunday took about 5 hours to get through so a slow round. we had 4 groups of 4. Not a bad day only rained while playing the 17th. The course is getting better and better considering the traffic it gets. greens are looking good and there are signs they are fixing up the fairways. still an easy couse for the longer hitters. normally after a good tee off ya hitting a short iron in.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Playing at the Pat this Sunday with my social club...

We couldn't tee off until 9.30am so could be in for a long round as well, as long as we are done by dusk !!

About 6 months ago, with a cart, my brother and I walked (or drove) off after 5 hours and waiting for 4 groups on the 13th tee !!

Hitting Victor Harbor this Sunday with the social club. Always look forward to the 1st!

Last game we had at the pat we got round quick, but it was a drizzly day which may have kept the hoardes away.

Wirrina aint bad at all- particularly for nix.

Was up in Clare yesterday with the missus for some wedding preperation...

Convinced her that driving me around on the cart for 18 holes would be good fun, so squeezed a round in just under 2 and 1/2 hours before the sun came down...

Hit the ball reasonably well most of the day, but still ended up with 96 off the stick (playing off 25 at the moment) because the course was very mushy and boggy...

The missus managed to get the cart bogged down near the 5th green after I told her to steer clear of any soggy, muddy patches !! Took bloody 10 minutesd to get out and got plenty of mud on me from the wheels just spinning !!

The greens were in good nick, the course was nice and green but with a fair bit of water up there recently (we were up there about a month ago prior to yesterday and the lake alongside the 11th tee block was bone dry back then, yesterday it would have been close to half full !!) it just made any long shots plug in the fairway, making the course longer to play.

Will be up at Mt Barker this Sunday morning with the social club. HAs anyone played it recently and of so, what nick is it in ?

PLayed at Willunga this arvo, havent played there for a few years

Was very wet underfoot, squelched thru the whole course, so much so it was nice to get into a bunker to stop the squelching!

Wont be heading back there in the winter again, mud flew everywhere are every shot

Greens were good though for this time of year

Playing Grange in a fortnights time, looking forward to that

Sandy Creek has the fastest greens this side of uranus. Just a comment on the design of the course and im no expert, but there were quite a few holes where you tee off over a crest and it was impossible to see what was happening over the other side. If we had of teed off blindly over the crest we could have hit someone. Each time we drove our buggy down to see where the group in front of us were. Not sure golf course designers take much interest of safety but in all seriousness crests 150m from tee offs and no vision over the other side is bloody stoopid.

Played at Wirrina last Saturday. Fine and windy made the back 9 very tough.

A few greens were in a shabby state of repair but the fairways were nice.

Didnt much care for the sand in the traps, very heavy IMO.

Shot 105 off the stick, which considering I havent played there before and many of the tees are blind shots coupled with the wind and my hangover, not overly upset.

My 3 wood off the tee on the 8th into a nearby truck and to dead centre of fairway a clear highlight,oh, and my brothers 15 on the 5th or 6th was good to watch too. 2 off the tee got wet and the third OOB near the lake once more...
