In solid nick there mt79. Not far from a sub 40 nine?

had a 40 today!

2 birdies on the 2nd and the 8th holes

also a couple of pars in there also

the back 9 slightly fell apart a tad on 2 holes, but managed to regain and was hitting them solidly.

my putting was brilliant today - a few one putts that weren't gimmes from 8metres and the 9th hole I chipped in with my 7iron from just off the green.

Went around North Adelaide Sunday morning. Nice course in good condition (1st time there) went out in 55 including a lost penalty. Then had a mini self destruct moment and ended up coming in with 59 :(

The sooner I can eliminate the duffed shots and semi control n my driver, I'll be under the magical 100

just playing regularly will get you there. i went from hitting 105 to hitting 95 just by playing more than once every 3 months.

then it becomes the magical 90 :D

PLayed up at Port Hughes on the weekend, 9 holes on Friday and 18 on Saturday, shot 89 on Saturday and was pretty happy with that as I didnt make a putt longer than 3 foot all day, hit 12 out of 14 fairways so that was a highlight as I usually only hit 4-5.

Course still in great nick, they are doing a good job up there, playing different tee blocks and the red/black pins makes it feel like 18 holes not 9.

Prices for a round have dropped a touch also, well wroth a trip up there, the greens are magnificent.

Any pub talk up there if it is going to 18 holes?

Was up there 2 years ago for a Sand greens tournament and all clubs on the YP had suffered membership losses. Wallaroo more than most but so had Kadina to a lesser extent.

Council now runs it on a 21 year lease, plenty of homes still going up with a lot of the blocks when you first drive in now being lived in, no mention of the back 9 but Im guessing its going to need more land sales/development and possibly a new developer with $ to make it a goer.

I can't remember the cost previously but thought it was at least $45 for a round, now $35 for 18 which is much more reasonable.

Heading to Tanunda Sunday morning. Not sure what bright spark thought a 7am tee time was a great idea though.

Will be interesting to see how the newly modified clubs work. After having a lesson today at House of Golf, my poor posture when I address the ball was due partly to ill fitting clubs

Went around Carrimar in Perth this week. Only played 9 and shot 3 pars (lets not talk about the rest).

Off to Bali tomorrow and staying in seminyak. What courses and prices are we looking @ guys?

Well Tanunda Pines was the winner this morning. Course is in immaculate condition, super fast greens and some very tough pin positions. Definitely worth the drive and will be back again

Yeah @mickey, that was me and my brother playing. Thought the course was in superb condition and really enjoyed the round...

You probably heard me carrying on like a pork chop when you were on the 18th tee box and I had just chipped in from off the green, by the dead tree stump, on the 17th green !!!

Played Pt Hughes on the weekend. Course was in great Nick. Talk is they waiting on a few more houses to be built and then look at the back 9. Also looking at govenment grants to help. Cost is $50 with a Kart.

have played the course over 20 times.

On friday we played mid afternoon was not a breath of wind. First time ever like that. Shot very well finishing with a 79 off the stick. its a easy course with no wind.

Sat tee off 8am wind was up but not as bad. shot 85. thought i hit the ball better was just the wind holding me down.

Sunday tee off at 8am wind was up. Close to the worst i have played in, also had big down pour. once again hit the ball well just could not putt. Shot a 91 off the stick

Over all was a good weekend away. Any golfer should head up for the weekend. Book in advance have a chat to the locals andf thet will look after you. As we had 8 playing and booked in advance they gave us the round on Sunday for free. guess it does help that we all spent over $200 each on booze thou

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.
