Playing Fleurieu this Sunday. Will post a report. Hopefully the extra break over footy finals helps me out.

Played Mt Barker on Friday last week. Not been out there in ages, a few changes since I was last there. A few hedges etc gone, and perhaps in a bit better nick than I remember it. Greens had been recently renovated (so were lumpy & slow), but give it 2 weeks & it will be good again.

Played Lady Bay Friday and Sat, on Sat had a 41 on the front 9 and was 8 over heading to the 14th and put 2 in the drink for a 9 then a 5 on the uphill par 3 15th, birdied the 16th but stuffed the round by then.

Course was still OK but it was the worst condition Ive seen it in, fairways dry and hard and patchy in places, greens ok but pretty slow and poa is now growing in it. Not sure if they are short of cash but they sont seem to be investing much in the course.

Played Mt Gambier yesterday... not a bad course. It was windy as Frankenstorm for the first 9, but eased off after that. Alot of good driving holes & alot of holes with the tee well above the green which always makes your drives go that extra distance...
Greens recently cored & quick as hell - but all in all a bloody good country course!!

I played Mount Gambier several years ago when the pine trees lined the first fairway. Made for a very intimidating tee shot. I was disappointed to hear they got rid of them. It's a nice course all round though.

Ive played it once this year, was middle of winter and course was pretty wet.

Fairways and greens would be tip top at the moment.
Just dont hit any into the tree's as there is some massive gums that make you play straight out.

Overall is a very nice course!
